Our Team

Michel Gauthier can be heard every Sunday morning at Mount-Royal United, playing both organ and piano as well as conducting the Choir. 

On the church’s venerable Casavant pipe instrument (well served by the sanctuary’s warm acoustics), he particularly enjoys playing Bach, Buxtehude, Couperin and other Baroque composers.

When sitting at the Kawai Grand Piano, he is rather influenced by the great Jazz piano tradition. He especially delights in improvisations on our favourite hymn tunes.

Rosemary is serving as retired supply appointment to MRUC after 44 years of ministry in Quebec and Eastern Ontario, in both pastoral and senior governance roles.

In her role in a part-time appointment to MRUC she is preaching in about half of  our Sunday morining services as well as engaging with the congregation in other activities.
