| Also a given are the monies raised through two major events. The first is the Spring Rummage Sale where a great number of the church's men are a valuable asset. We always need volunteers a number of whom are from the community-at-large. Our Rummage Sales feature a Ladies Boutique of gently used clothing and accessories. The gym and two other large rooms are full of "rummage": clothes, toys, housewares, books, home furnishings and lots of odds and sods. Our next Rummage Sale will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. | |
| The other event is the Yuletide Fair, Saturday, November 13, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Emphasis is on a silent auction, bake table and "Treasures Galore" . This year we hope to include our Ladies' Boutique and children's clothing along with our toy area. Our Yuletide Fair also features a luncheon served from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. It is a wonderful time of Christian Fellowship leading into the Christmas season. |
| A very dedicated group of women arrange and organize Bereavement Teas following funeral/memorial services in our sanctuary . The families, congregation and community are most appreciative of this group's care and understanding. |
| Our UCW is governed by an Advisory Committee which consists of representatives from all standing committees within the congregation; needs are met and help is given; and we hear the gossip, the concerns… everything that women do best. |
