Our Worship

Sunday morning worship is held in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. Communion is celebrated regularly. The harmonies of our Senior Choir, which includes professional soloists, are enhanced by the music of a Casavant organ and grand piano. From time to time, the mix is varied with guest preachers and visiting musical groups ranging from bell choirs to folk-rock ensembles.

Our church welcomes children of all ages. Youngsters experience worship with their families in the Sanctuary and then enjoy a special greeting and children's time with the minister at the front of the church before heading off to Sunday school with their teachers. A nursery staffed by a well-qualified babysitter is available for infants and toddlers. The teen Youth Group often participates in services, greeting worshippers and reading Scripture.

There are eagerly anticipated special services throughout the year. These include the annual Christmas Pageant, a Christmas Carol Service by our choir in early December, the Candlelight Family Service on Christmas Eve and the Easter Service, featuring such works as the Requiem by Faure.

Members of the congregation act as ushers, read Scripture, receive the offering, and beautify the Sanctuary with banners, flowers and other festive and seasonal decorations.

Every Sunday following the worship service, there are refreshments and fellowship for everyone in the hall beside the sanctuary.
